The content of the book was good and what I expected. However; the book was advertised as "new." When I received it there were pages (coupon pages) ripped out! I was very disappointed with this and it was too close to my trip to do anything about it.Rating: 2 / 5

EXCELLENT. I WISH THEY WOULD GIVE THE CASINO SIZE FOR ALL THE CASINOS, AND MAYBE THE NUMBER OF SLOTS IN EACH CASINO.Rating: 4 / 5

Shipping took forever from Amazon. I ordered on Jan.1 and did not receive until almost two weeks later. I will not order from Amazon again. Book is great, lots of helpful coupons.Rating: 4 / 5

If you're going to Las Vegas, there are enough free publications that you don't need this. If you want to know about all the casinos in the US, it's a good reference.Rating: 2 / 5

The Craps Underground is a great book about the best casino dice players who have ever lived, starting with the man who helped to make controlled dice shooting in the casinos a reality - that man is the Captain from Atlantic City. With his partner, the women known as "the Arm," the Captain won millions at the dice tables.

The book goes into detail about the Lee Brothers, Dominator, Sharpshooter and other members of the Golden Touch dice control fraternity who have taken the casinos by storm since the year 1991.

This book is a great adventure with great characters. The game of craps has always been thought of as a game that can't be beaten but Scoblete shows, in wonderful prose, just how these men have done it. There is a great section about the appearance of Dominator, Sharpshooter and Scoblete on the A&E network where the three of them beat the casinos for quite a bit of money and all of it was filmed! Scoblete also has a great day to day diary of his play in Las Vegas.

This is one of the best books you'll ever read about those few players who can actually beat the game of craps because of their controlled throws.Rating: 5 / 5

..dont make the same mistake as i.
there are maybe 10 pages of interesting reading in this book. otherwise, we are stuck with:
(1) minutae only interesting to the author and his friends
(2) endless references to how lovely his wife is, and boring stories about her, her and frank, her and her friends, and her witty little sayings that arent so witty. every passage about his wife is like hearing another boring story from the father of a newborn about how his kid just learned to pick his nose or wash his hands. **YAWN**
(3) stuff that should embarass the author but does not, making me continually wonder about his upbringing and level of education. the writing is sophomoric at its best moments; otherwise it's high-school level. and stories about saying "hello" to flowers, or how great he looks strolling down the strip in a golden touch craps jacket....all i need is a couple of happy meals and a mullet and i feel like i've got a jerry springer guest writing this book.
(4) most prominently, non-stop promotion for golden touch craps, and the author's website, etc etc. anyone involved in putting out this book-- the author, the publisher, the editor-- should be wholly ashamed of themselves. promotion is one thing, but trying to disguise it under the banner of real writing is both pathetic and shameful.
Save your money and DO NOT believe the 5* reviews...those MUST be from friends of the author (All of whom seem to be mentioned in the book...as if that should be of any interest to anyone not in this group). Spend your money elsewhere.Rating: 1 / 5

I enjoy playing craps, and I really enjoyed reading about the most incredible gamblers of all time. These stories are unbelievable; these people winning millions from the casinos? ... It's shocking! The fact that these stories are true makes it surreal - simply fascinating. I urge you to read this book - you'll simply love it!Rating: 5 / 5

I loved this book! Although I am not a big-time craps player, I found the stories to be exciting. The tales of different gamblers were interesting - I really enjoyed reading about the greatest players of all time, The Captain, The Arm etc... and how they won millions from the casinos... it was very intriguing. This is the third book I have read that was written by Frank Scoblete, and he hasn't let me down yet - I highly recommend this book, it was an insightful, fun read.Rating: 5 / 5

Leafed through this in an airport - once again, someone trying to cash in on everyone's greed and lie to them about how they can win at XYZ game using their "technique."

Okay, for those of you who aren't aware of how craps works, say this three times:

"Craps is a great game, but there is no way to consistently win."

Still feel like pressing "add to cart"? Say that three times again. Go get a book that tells you how to play, and avoid any book that tells you 'Ohmygod you'll win so much'. Better still, just go to Vegas and go to one of the classes, they offer them daily at the big casinos, generally 10am or 11am, and learn there.
